I am excited about this series because I believe that God is going to help people get the toxicity…or the toxins…out of their lives. What is toxic? Let me give you a working definition of what toxic means. TOXIC IS ANYTHING CONTAINING POISONOUS MATERIAL CAPABLE OF CAUSING SICKNESS OR DEATH.

This morning I want to talk to you about how to grow as a disciple. That is why this morning’s message is called GROWING DISCIPLES! I have been talking with leadership in this church…pastors in the area…and pastor friends on Facebook about the topic of how to make disciples for over a year. Making disciples is the command of our Lord! We will not fail to obey our Lord! So we need to understand how to grow as a disciple

This morning I want to talk to you about A GIFT OF INTERRUPTIONS! Do like to be interrupted? Do you like to have someone interrupt you when you are talking or when you are working on a task. Why are we that way? I think it is because we like the routine…we like normal. God will interrupt you with a gift…a gift of interruptions. We need to remember that few of us recognize the gift of God in our lives. Why is that? Because God often wraps the gift in a way that we do not recognize the gift He is giving us! You see the gift of interruptions don’t always seem like a gift…at the time!

This morning I want to talk to you about living with a thankful heart! It has been called thanksliving! Too often many of us get caught up in the thanksgiving trap…that is being thankful one day of the year! We put it on the calendar and do it one day out of the year…and that is it!
